SUBMISSION OF INDIVIDUAL SCORE IN GENERAL PLAY PLAYED OVERSEAS

Applicable for rounds acceptable for handicapping purposes according to Rule 2.1a and Diagram 2.1a of the Rules of Handicapping.

The federated member must pre-register, through an email to the Home Club, containing date and time of the round, identification of the player; identification of the marker; identification of the Course (course, set of tees and nr. of holes).

The federated member must submit the score to the Home Club, for validation, containing hole by hole score, date, Course Rating and Slope Rating, Par and Stroke Index for each hole. The player should also inform the PCC, if the score is submitted after the day of the round.

IN DATAGOLF

REGISTER THE SCORE

  • Identify the Score: Players/Members -> Players -> Find the player -> Enter Scores button -> Yes or New EDS/Away – > Enter the data (International Away; Format; Date; Time; Description; International Organizer) -> OK

  • Identify Golf Course: Description (Enter the name of the golf course); enter Course Rating and Slope, enter Par and Stroke Index hole by hole; possibility to enter metres -> OK

  • Register the score: enter hole-by-hole strokes -> Enter PCC -> Save

Note: For multiple scores at the same Golf Course, insert New EDS/Away -> select International Away -> Repeat last Away Data -> Insert Date -> OK -> OK (Golf Course) -> Insert hole-by-hole strokes and PCC.

SUBMIT THE SCORE

  • Tournaments/Results -> Sending EDS/Aways to Server -> Select score -> Submit to Server -> Yes -> Continue -> You can check the score in the Club Area

Note – If any amendment is required:

  • Delete the score in the Club Area (Instructions here)

  • In Datagolf, update the score and activate sending again (Tournaments/Results -> Sending EDS/Aways to Server)

  • Rule 2.2 of the Local Guidance for Golf Club Committees of the Rules of Handicapping

  • Rules 2.1 and 4.1 of the Rule of Handicapping.
