HANDICAP ADJUSTMENT

Handicap Index adjustments are applied according to Rule 3.2 of the Local Guidance for Golf Club Committees of the Rules of Handicapping.

For adjustment of a Handicap Index lower than 2.0, please contact the HCRC of the Federation.

IN THE CLUB AREA

Reports -> Players list -> Select the player -> HCP Adjustment

Fill in:
Reason for Modification: Alteração de Handicap/Handicap adjustment
New Handicap: Insert the new Handicap Index
Comment: Register information supporting the decision
Escolher ficheiro/Choose file: attach a file, if applicable
Confirm

Notes:

The new handicap will become immediately available. When the player submits the new score, an adjustment is applied to the previous scores, corresponding to the handicap change applied by the adjustment.

Where a Handicap Committee-applied adjustment increases a player’s Handicap Index, the player’s Low Handicap Index is reset to the same value as the adjusted Handicap Index.
