IN DETAIL:
For Scoring Record from another Federation with WHS
Score Differentials values should be available on the WHS scoring record.
– Registration format: By Score Differential
For Scoring Record from another Handicap System
During the temporary period of coexistence of other handicap systems with the World Handicap System and until all Federations have transitioned to the Rules of Handicapping, scores from other handicap systems can be acceptable:
EGA Handicap System:
– The score is an acceptable score if Rules of Handicapping provisions are fulfilled
– Registration format: By Stableford net Points or Adjusted Gross Score
– Note: CBA is used for the equivalent PCC: CBA -2RO to PCC +3; CBA -2 to PCC +2; CBA -1 to PCC +1; CBA +1 to PCC -1.
CONGU Handicap System
– The score is an acceptable score if Rules of Handicapping provisions are fulfilled
– Registration format: By Stableford net Points or Adjusted Gross Score
Notes: Input is conditioned by the type of data available on the scoring record:
– When no Course Rating is available:
– use CSS and apply PCC as zero, or,
– use SSS and apply CSS as the equivalent PCC: CSS +3/+3RO to PCC +3; CSS +2 to PCC +2; CSS +1 to CSS +1; CSS -1 to PCC -1. For that, calculate (CSS-SSS).
– When no Slope Rating is available use 124.
– If the score is only available as Net Differential:
– calculate Stableford Points, as (36-Net Differential), when Par is available, or,
– calculate Adjusted Gross Score, as (CSS+PlayHCP-Net Differential).
